At Acacia Dermatology & Laboratory Pathology, we utilize the latest medical knowledge and techniques to diagnose difficult skin conditions that require skin biopsies. As the Laboratory Director, Dr. Chen brings to this practice years of experience as a consultant dermatopathologist with clients in the Greater Nashville Area.

CERTIFICATIONS

Dr. Chen is Board Certified in Dermatopathology by two member boards of the American Board of Medical Specialties, the American Board of Pathology and the American Board of Dermatology. Acacia Dermatology is Certified by CLIA and our work undergoes routine rigorous quality assurance to ensure that your diagnosis is timely and of the highest accuracy.

PATHOLOGY CONTRACTING

Acacia Dermatology & Laboratory Pathology serves as the preferred dermatopathology provider for a number of specialty practices in Middle Tennessee. We provide and bill for laboratory services much in the same way as other laboratories (for example, PCA Southeast, LabCorp and Quest). If you have recently received an invoice from us and you are a patient at Gold Skin Care Center and you have questions, please call our Billing Department at 931.201.9020. Our Billing Manager, Debbie Daniels, will be glad to provide you with clarity and satisfaction.

MOHS SURGERY

Dr. Chen's vast experience as a skin pathologist makes him exceptionally well qualified to perform Mohs surgery, where microscopic examination of cancerous tissue during surgery is at the very heart of the procedure.
